Yes I don't notice pas until 3 they don't seem to have a solution for the problem 

Pedal assist 1 for me is non existent as I pedal faster than the motor runs. I barely notice PAS 2 for the same reason. I run my bike in 7th gear. Could this be what you are experiencing?

I have the same problem I think thats not a very helpful answer I also have a hemiway and the pa can be adjusted
