I had a number 7 then it went away and now I have a 10. I wish I could just take this bike in to have it fixed. There are a number of issues.
@markus hillman You can check your motor wire as 7 is the motor issue, and 10 is a wire connecting issue, so there is a great possibility that the motor wire may have a problem. You can also contact the BeeCool customer service team to submit the issue. I hope you can solve your issues soon!
I have an Error Code 9. I know it is the controller. That's great - now: how do I fix the problem? I have sent three messages to the HelpCenter and have yet to receive a response. Can you help me?
@Andres Meglioli Most of the time, as for controller issues, you need to check the wire connection first, and if the wire has no problem, then you need a new controller to replace the broken one. As for controller wire connection, you can refer to the below.
@Steven Jones
Steven, thank you for the reply. I will check the wire connections now and contact you if I need a new controller - which must be covered by the warranty (the bike is one month old).
Hello Steven,
I opened and checked the controller. Thank you for the diagram you sent me. I tested each connection (plugged and unplugged each connection) to no avail. Removed the battery several times and checked all other visible connections without success. Error code is still there.
I plan to check the throttle as a last check.
How do I get a new controller? Please advise.
Thank you,
Andres Meglioli
@Andres Meglioli Contact BeeCool's customer service center and check if the controller of your version is available and get a quote for it as well.
Error Code 2 List Brake , Can I get some TroubleShooting Advice? My Brakelight is always on? All I know is the brakelight goes out after I disconnect the harness at the Rear Hub.
Thanks Much
Mark
I guess the controller won't power up the bike with the brakelight on? I don't have any Power Assist? No Ridding Today. Need Help with Controller Cost $$ and is it available?
@Mark Rowland
1.Error code 02 means the brake sensor issue. When error 02 exists, the motor will shut down and sometimes the brake light will stay lighted on.
2. Steps to solve the error code 02 issue:
1) Unplug the brake levers one by one to confirm whether it is caused by the left or right brake lever.
2) Try to adjust the screws to see if it can be solved. Please check the instruction video.

3) If there is still an error code 02, you need to provide the relevant video and contact the after-sales service to replace the brake lever.
@BeeCool Service I have both brake wires out of the brake actuators and still get an 02 code and no drive motor. Also the left hand brake controller threads on the cable are semi-stripped, it looks like someone overtightened the set screw when assembling.Any way to check that the motor is still good?
Unplugged the brake levers at the controller and was able to get the brake light off, still no power to the drive motor.Could this be a controller issue?
@Larry Williams Long Press the "Down" Button to activate the "Cruise Mode". If the motor works in Cruise mode, then the motor is OK. Attention: when you activate the Cruise Mode for testing, do remember to uplift the rear wheel away from the ground or the bike will move forward automatically which will cause an accident!
@Larry Williams Or you can contact our service team at customer@beecoolbikes.com to arrange an online meeting with our tech man to solve the issue. 😎
