My motor stopped working during a short ride over a week ago. Battery was charged. I'm just under the warrenty. I have sent a number of emails to customr service seeking advice on next steps but have not recieved a reply. Can someone please get back to me. This is a commuter bike and need to be back on the road asap.
Hello. I am not from BeeCool, but own an Adverturer. I have had my motor stop working mid ride on 2 occasions. It showed an error code, and looking it up it said it was a "communication problem" with the controller. I thought I was sunk, but it was a hot day and I'd been really using a lot of power, so thought it might have shut down due to overheating. I let it rest in the shade for 15 minutes or so, turned it back on, and it worked fine. Hopefully this might be your problem.
Another time mine quit, but it was due to my having accidentally dropped my battery which damaged the on/off switch on the battery. This had vibrated enough that the switch had popped out enough to turn off the battery. Luckily I had some tape with me, and by wrapping it around the battery enough to depress the on/off button a little, it worked fine and has ever since.
