Key Settings

  • I just received a new bike. I see 2 key settings....1.) battery compartment is locked, bike is off. 2.) battery compartment is open. There seems to be no key position for battery compartment locked and bike is on. So how do I turn on the bike?

  • @Lindsey Swift hold down the middle button until it turns on

  • My Adventurer has an on/off button in the battery. Once that is pushed, like William said, hold down the middle button on the control switch.

  • Thank you, gentlemen......I simply didn't hold down the button long enough. Thanks again.

  • @Lindsey Swift happy trails!

  • Now, another problem. The tail light and rear turn signals have a wire that connects to something.....I don't see a plug-in location anywhere. Obviously I'm missing something but it's not shown in the instruction manual.

    • Look down by the derailer. There should be a plug along the frame there on top of the derailer.

  • Yeah, what William said. Hehe.

  • My brake light on my Adventurer stays on and the motor started intermittently working and then not working on my rides.  There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for why it quits.  It finally stopped during a ride a few weeks ago and has not started working again.  The brake light still stays lit.  I think it might be something simple but I am open to ideas

  • The brake light on my Adventurer stays on and the motor which was working fine started intermittently cutting off during some rides.  Then it would work again after a short time, no apparent rhyme or reason.  It shut off during a ride a few weeks ago and has never come back on since.  Would love to hear ideas from anyone who might know what could cause this.  I would be willing to use the Veleotool or take it to a shop if that is an option.  I live in central South Carolina.  Thanks
